I have known Oliver for 3 years, through his involvement in the Dumbartonshire Golf Union Coaching Programme

In the time I've known Oliver, he's displayed total commitment to his improvement as a golfer on and off the course. He has worked extremely hard to improve the areas of his game we identified as needing improvement. Oliver has improved steadily and progressed from the Development squad to the Performance squad. His place in the Performance squad has been earned through his continued progress to reach his current level and his behaviours and values.

Competing in National Boys’ events further helps him grow by gaining valuable experience at the highest level nationally. We have worked hard on tournament preparation, creating sound strategy for events, a decision-making process and reflecting on his practice and tournament play.

Throughout both Development and now the Performance Programmes, Oliver has displayed great character traits. He has always been respectful, thoughtful and diligent and is good in a team environment and therefore very popular amongst his peers.

Oliver would be a great addition to any College and college golf team and I’m positive he’ll thrive in that environment and help bring out the best in his teammates.
