Reference for Ruby Savage

Over the last few years, it has given me great pleasure to watch Ruby develop into the personable and confident young golfer that she is today.

Ruby practices hard and I have noticed she always persuades Dad to take her for a practice round before playing a match or competition at an unfamiliar course. This preparation has been beneficial and earned her good results.

Although Ruby is quiet, she mixes well with her peers and is a popular young lady. She is also excellent with the younger girls, very patient and encouraging. This was particularly noted during the summer when the County held on-course training sessions for all ages and abilities, Ruby was excellent at passing on her experience to those girls new to golf.

Due to Ruby’s leadership qualities and her maturity, the County has invited her to be Junior County Girls Captain for 2025, we are delighted that she has accepted the position, and we have every confidence that she will be an excellent Captain.

Ruby deserves to succeed due to her dedication and commitment to the game of golf. We are very proud of her, and she has the very best wishes of the County ladies for every success as she progresses with her golf.

I have known Ruby since she joined our Golf Academy at a very young age and we have had the pleasure of watching her develop into the hard working, driven, talented, young woman that she is today. 

Ruby has always shown a fantastic attitude not only with her own development but to all that surrounded her, regularly supporting our Golf Academy with junior golf events and helping our younger junior golfers.  

Ruby is hard working, very intelligent and has a very welcoming personality which has helped her grow into a superb role model for young golfers here at Bromsgrove Golf Centre.  

Throughout the years we have watched her become incredibly successful in our own junior events, moving through to our County Development Program and into the County Girls teams where her success has continued on the same trajectory and I truly believe Ruby will make a success of anything she puts her mind to.  

Ruby would be a welcome addition to any golf team or University, her caring and compassionate character would fit perfectly into any setting and we could not recommend her more highly.  

Ruby will always have a place here as a PGA Professional if she were to one day choose that path and we wish her the very best with this next venture in her education and life.
